What Is Remapping
Virtually all modern engines are controlled by an electronic engine management system know as the ECU. Inside the ECU is a file which contains all the settings which decide how the engine and components operate at different speeds, temperatures, throttle positions, etc. Remapping is revising the standard settings in the ECU, and loading a new settings file which when dome properly, will make the engine work far more efficiently.
