In short No! The optimized settings we upload are well within the tolerances of the engine and components if they are in good servicable condition. We also carry out a basic diagnostic check before remapping any vehicle to ensure there are no problems/errors recorded in the ECU.
Can The Dealer Tell It's Been Done?
Because we work on a copy of your own vehicles base file, all of your vehicles original internal serial numbers, hardware & software numbers are retained in the new file loaded onto your ECU, making it virtually undetectable by the dealers.

How Long Does It Take To Do?
Most remaps can be carried out with around 2 hours, but some more complicated ECU can take anything up to 6 hours, but we can advise you of your specific vehicle if you get in touch. We are also usually able to offer a mobile service to minimise the disruption to your day.
